中国林学会林业史分会成立于1987年12月8日，以研究林业历史和文化为宗旨，挂靠北京林业大学林业史研究室，集教学科研及科普工作于一体。林业史分会自1987年创建后，发行有数期《林业史学会通讯》内部资料，出版论著十余本，发表论文数十篇。于1999年开始招收中国林业史方向的博士研究生，2010年开始招收林业史方向的硕士生，持续至今。2014年出齐了五个分典七册的《中华大典·林业典》，同年承担了科技部国...
