大连水产学院理学院于2002年成立，前身为基础部和体育教学部。学院下设数学、物理、制图3个教研室和1个体育教学部，拥有物理实验室11个，制图室8个，计算机实验室3个，室内健身房1个。除招收信息与计算科学专业、应用物理专业本科生；负责全院本科、研究生相关基础教学工作外。近五年来，学院主持省级以上各类项目15项，共公开发表省级以上科研论文150余篇。
