法国国家图书馆是法国最大的图书馆，也是屈指可数的世界大型图书馆之一。它是由皇家图书馆发展起来的。新的法国国家图书馆在希拉克总统的主持下于1996年12月20日正式开馆，并被命名为密特朗图书馆。新馆馆址座落在巴黎城区东南塞纳河畔的道乐比阿克，这项工程总建造经费约80亿法郎，占地7.5公顷，建筑面积26万平方米。馆内书架总长度达358公里。

贵州财经学院图书馆始建立于1958年，后因故停办，1978年恢复建馆。经过二十多年的建设，图书馆现由南北两院图书馆组成，馆舍总面积达到19578平方米，阅览座位2800座。其中5720平方米北院A区图书馆在2001年8月建成交付使用，2003年通过日元贷款修建了11698平方米的北院B区图书馆，于2006年8月投入使用。到2006年7月31日为止，图书馆馆藏文献总量已达139.4万册（种）。
江苏吴江图书馆始建于1917年，2003年12月，吴江市政府又一次建造新的图书馆，现在已经建成开放，新馆位于中山南路1979号，面积14000平方米。现有藏书32万册，其中古、旧书籍7万册（含线装古籍5.6万册），并有珍稀善本数种。
